Pull ups #35-52

Daniel has taken to spending lots more time up on his feet over the last week or so.

Everything that he can’t reach he either pulls himself up to have a look or he climbs. I know I should expect him to do these things having already seen his sisters do something similar. I suppose he just seems to put in a lots of effort and determination into doing it.

In the second shot you can see him pulling himself up to look at something on the table, what you unfortunately don’t see is that his feet nearly left the ground in ground in doing so πŸ™‚

Driving Lessons #34-52

Dan-Dan has been very keen to start using his new car.
He is already very comfortable walking it around the house and garden so we thought it’s high time he tried out the drivers seat.

Already using a phone while driving, tut tut!

Not so graceful on the dismount though πŸ˜‰

Happy Birthday Daniel #33-52

I can’t believe that Daniel is a year old today! I know it’s a bit clichΓ© to say it but that year really did fly by.

We are not sure if it’s just because he turned 1 today or not but for the first time since birth Daniel slept for the whole night without waking and to top it all off he fed himself his bottle this morning. Maybe he had a word with himself and decided it was time he grew up a bit πŸ™‚

We had a video chat with my brother and his family as well as my mum & dad from France. It’s so great that they were able to wish Daniel a happy birthday and see him blowing out his first candle.

Can’t beat a Viennetta ice cream as a substitute for a real birthday cake that he probably can’t eat. (Both our girls had strong allergies to egg when they were younger so we were not going to risk it.)

Daniel got lots of lovely cards and some nice clothes as well as his first car πŸ™‚

Thanks also to all my friends and fellow photographers who sent birthday wishes to Jnr. Much appreciated.
