Random things my kids say to me…

While putting the kids to bed;

Me: Night Carla
Carla: Daddy will you stay here with me?
Me: No I can’t. I have lots to do before I can go to bed, I have to cook my dinner, feed the cat, feed the fish, wash the floors, do the dishes, tidy the garden, turn off the lights, have a shower, brush my teeth and then I can go to bed
Carla: and then you will saw your head off

While relaxing in the garden;

Saoirse: Daddy, How did god make us?

Me: Well that’s one the great mysteries

Saoirse: Well did he put brains up our noses, bones in our legs and then fill us up with guts?

Me: Something like that yes.
